After the Weekly Class — Keeping the Chapter Alive

The meeting is one hour. The chapter is a whole life. This guide shows you (1) the between-meeting rhythm that keeps kids engaged Monday through Saturday, and (2) the season-long roadmap so your chapter grows, not just survives.

Pair this with: Weekly Meeting Outline · Printable Resources Library · Leader Dashboard.

Part 1 · The Between-Meeting Rhythm (7-Day Loop)

Every meeting plants a seed. The week between meetings is where it grows. Run this loop every week and your chapter will feel less like a class and more like a family.

Day 0 — Meeting Night

  • Post the recap in the chapter feed within 2 hours: one photo, one win, the next memory verse.
  • Update attendance on the Leader Dashboard while it's fresh.
  • Pray over the kids who came — and especially the ones who didn't.

Day 1 — Parent Touch

  • Text or email parents a short message: "Here's what we learned, here's the verse, here's the at-home challenge." 3 sentences max.
  • Flag any concerns from the meeting (a sad kid, a fight, a big breakthrough). One private DM per parent — never group.
  • Thank a helper or co-leader by name.

Day 2–3 — Mid-Week Mission Drop

  • Post the mid-week mission in the chapter feed — a single Kindness Dare, Body challenge, or Mind moment kids can do in 5 minutes.
  • Share a kid-safe video from the Leader Dashboard's video-share tool. Preview it first.
  • Pin next week's memory verse at the top of the feed so families can practice at home.

Day 4 — Quest Check-In

  • Open the Leader Dashboard and see which kids have logged badges or quest cards this week.
  • Send a quick "I see you 👀" note to any kid with a streak.
  • Send a "what would help you finish this week's quest?" note to any kid who's stalled.

Day 5 — Outreach & Invites

  • Open the Outreach panel — invite one unaffiliated Rich Kids Club member in your area.
  • Review any Join Requests and approve/decline.
  • Post one item from the Social Kit publicly (church bulletin, neighborhood group, school chat).

Day 6 — Leader Prep

  • Read next meeting's section of the Weekly Meeting Outline.
  • Download props for the pillar from the Printable Library.
  • Confirm helpers, snack, and any guests.
  • Check kit inventory — never below 10 on hand.

Day 7 — Meeting Day

  • Arrive 20 minutes early.
  • Run the meeting. Loop restarts at Day 0.

Part 2 · Always-On Channels (Run All Week)

  • Chapter feed — the heartbeat. Aim for 3 posts a week: recap, mid-week mission, encouragement. Never go silent more than 5 days.
  • Video shares — drop a kid-safe video any time you find one. Kids watch it in-app — never on YouTube.
  • Memory-verse pin — always one verse pinned at the top so families practice all week.
  • Parent DM line — be reachable, but two-adult rule applies. Loop a co-leader on sensitive convos.
  • Trinity Kit ladder — kids keep stacking Trinity Bucks toward their next kit. Celebrate every $1 in the chapter feed.

Part 3 · The Season Roadmap (12-Week Arc)

A season is 12 weeks — about 3 months. Each block has a goal, a milestone moment, and a graduation marker. Run 3–4 seasons per year (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall). Take a one-week breath between seasons.

Weeks 1–2 · Launch & Belonging

  • Goal: Every kid knows every other kid's name. Every parent knows you.
  • Pillar: Spirit (Grace Guardian) — start with kindness and welcome.
  • Storybook: Season 1 — Origins of the Mission Mall, chapters 1–2.
  • Milestone: Family Welcome Night at the end of Week 2 — parents come, see the chapter, sign up for the season.

Weeks 3–5 · Body Block (Harvest Hulk)

  • Goal: Every kid earns at least one Body badge — rainbow plate, power-up workout, water streak.
  • Activity arc: Power-Up Workout → Rainbow Veggie Tasting → Field Day or outdoor relay.
  • Storybook: Season 1 chapters 3–5.
  • Milestone: Week 5 — chapter cooks a healthy snack together and serves it to a neighbor / shut-in / shelter.

Weeks 6–8 · Mind Block (Sage Sol)

  • Goal: Every kid practices Starlight Breath daily and finishes one gratitude journal week.
  • Activity arc: Starlight Breath → Wonder Walk → Gratitude Wall.
  • Storybook: Season 2 — Rise of the Hollow Mall, chapters 1–3.
  • Milestone: Week 8 — Family Movie Night with a Sage Sol short, parents invited.

Weeks 9–11 · Spirit Block (Grace Guardian)

  • Goal: Chapter assembles and sponsors a Trinity Kit for a real recipient outside the chapter.
  • Activity arc: Kindness Dares → Secret Gift Mission → Trinity Kit assembly day.
  • Storybook: Season 2 chapters 4–6 or Season 3 chapters 1–2.
  • Milestone: Week 11 — chapter hand-delivers (or ships) the kit they sponsored. Take a photo, post it.

Week 12 · Graduation & Commissioning

  • Goal: Celebrate every kid by name, hand out season badges, and re-enroll for next season.
  • Run order: Worship → testimony (1 kid per pillar) → badge ceremony → blessing → cake + parents.
  • Promotions: Ages 10–12 who completed the season are eligible for Creators Guild leadership tier — invite them to help lead next season.
  • Re-enrollment: Hand out the next season's calendar before parents leave the room. Aim for 80% returning.

Part 4 · The Year (4 Seasons)

  • Winter season (Jan–Mar) — indoor focus, Spirit-heavy, kit drives for shelters.
  • Spring season (Apr–Jun) — Body-heavy, outdoor activities, neighborhood missions.
  • Summer break / camp (Jul) — optional 1-week intensive day camp using the same blocks, compressed.
  • Summer season (Aug–Oct) — Mind-heavy, journaling, creator projects, back-to-school blessing kits.
  • Fall season (Oct–Dec) — full Trinity arc, climaxing in a holiday kit drive and chapter-wide Family Night in December.

Part 5 · Growing the Chapter (Health Metrics)

Watch these four numbers on your Leader Dashboard every week. If they're up, your chapter is alive. If they're flat for 3 weeks, intervene.

  • Attendance rate — target ≥75% of enrolled kids each week.
  • Mid-week engagement — % of kids who log at least one badge between meetings. Target ≥50%.
  • Parent participation — at least one parent attends a Family Night per season.
  • Kit sponsorships — chapter sponsors ≥1 Trinity Kit per season (more is better).

Part 6 · When Things Drift (Recovery Plays)

  • Attendance crashed? Personal text to every absent family — not a group blast. "We missed [kid's name]. Anything I can do?"
  • Feed went quiet? Reset with a "win of the week" post — name 3 kids, attach a photo.
  • Burnout? Promote a parent or older kid into a co-leader role. Take one meeting off — don't quit, delegate.
  • Lost the rhythm? Restart the 7-day loop from Day 0. Don't try to catch up — just begin again Sunday night.
  • Conflict? Loop in HQ — support@themissionmall.org. Don't carry it alone.

Part 7 · The Long Game (Year 2 & Beyond)

  • Year 1 graduates become Year 2 mentors — pair every veteran with one new kid.
  • Ages 10–12 promote into Creators Guild leadership — they run openers, film recaps, post to the chapter feed (co-signed by you).
  • Multiply — when your chapter passes 20 kids, plant a second chapter and train its leader. Two chapters of 12 beats one chapter of 24.
  • Re-cast the vision with parents every season opener. Why we exist: Total Health Is The New Wealth.
